Some businesses are born from years of experience, fancy degrees, or big corporate plans. Ours was born from a little girl's love of painting rocks in the backyard — and a brother who thought, "Hey, the world needs to see this."

Florence: The Artist 🎨

Florence is 7 years old. She has paint-stained fingers, a huge imagination, and an eye for color that most adults spend a lifetime trying to develop. From the moment she could hold a brush, Florence was turning ordinary stones into tiny works of art — painting flowers, animals, rainbows, names, and whatever else her heart dreamed up that day.

What makes Florence's rocks so special isn't just the paint — it's the love she puts into every single one. She doesn't rush. She doesn't mass-produce. She sits down, picks up her brush, and creates something that has never existed before and never will again. Every rock is a one-of-a-kind original, made by a one-of-a-kind artist.

Florence's favorite things to paint are animals (especially cats 🐱), nature scenes, and personalized rocks with people's names written in her own colorful lettering. She also loves taking on challenges — so if you have a wild idea, she's probably already excited about it.

Her Brother: The Tech Guy 💻

Behind every great artist is someone who figures out how to share their work with the world. For Florence, that's her big brother — a self-described "tech nerd" who loves building things online just as much as Florence loves painting things in real life.

When he saw the growing pile of painted rocks filling up their home (and their mom's patience running thin 😄), he had an idea: what if we built a shop? Florence loved the idea. And just like that, a partnership was born.

He handles everything behind the scenes — the website, the orders, the packaging logistics, and making sure every customer has a smooth and happy experience. Florence handles the most important part: the art.

Why We Started Florence's Rocks 🌟

We didn't start this shop to get rich or go viral. We started it because Florence's rocks were making people smile — family members, neighbors, friends — and we realized that feeling shouldn't be limited to just the people lucky enough to live nearby.

We wanted anyone, anywhere, to be able to hold a little piece of handmade joy. A rock that someone actually sat down and painted, just for them. In a world full of mass-produced everything, we think there's something really powerful about that.

And honestly? Florence just really loves painting. So this is the perfect excuse to keep going. 🎉

How It Works 🛍️

Ordering from Florence's Rocks is simple and personal. You pick your quantity, and at checkout you leave a note telling Florence what you'd like — a name, a design idea, your favorite colors, a special message, or even just "surprise me!" Florence reads every single note herself and gets to work.

Each rock is painted by hand, sealed to protect the artwork, and carefully packaged before being shipped to you. No two rocks are ever identical, which means what you receive is truly, genuinely yours.
